As a fan of 40K and the Adaptus Astartes playing this game is a joy. The gameplay is stellar and the lore is rich. Wonderful game.

Would have been great if it wasnt for the unnecessarily long, unskippable enemy movement phase animations. They take FOREVER and its infuriating.

If you love warhammer 40k, or turn based strategy games, this is a good one. Some of the load times could be improved though.

Its really sad to hear that this game is no longer being worked on. Its truly a fun experience for someone who loves board games and tactical rpgs. The micro-transactions are truly secondary, and the game is polished and works perfectly.

Greatest app game ever

Easily one of the funniest mobile games Ive ever played the turn based strategy game is alive and well in part thanks to deathwatch!

Been playing the tabletop game for 20 years, a nice addition to the lore here.

Great game, I like turn based games. However you do not have to spend tons of money like others are saying. I did buy 2 packs thinking they would be better than what you get by selling inventory you dont use or at the end of an act. Theyre the same so I havent bought any since. I have a few opinions, one; is when you put your squad on over watch, they all fire simultaneously on the same target. Which pretty much turns any run of the mill tyranid to soup, but lets the others through. Two; the button to speed up enemy movements usually freezes the game, especially when the larger tyranids are in play. And I dont understand when you get better equipment your accuracy bonus is worse??? I generally use the basic weapons. Its nice if your master crafted weapon does a little more damage, but if you aint hitting anything then you do no damage. Itd be like having a Plymouth Duster that drives better than your BMW. Anyway those are my thoughts.

Fun turn based warhammer game. The banter of the squad is a nice touch. Good upgrade options.

Good game. Needs multiplayer component, though. Eats your battery - best to play when a charger is in reach, even if at 100%. Best of luck all -

Deathwatch is a solid game mechanically, and at first it is quite fun, but after a few hours of tough missions you learn this games harsh lesson: Your marines lose ALL of their experience points when they die. If experience points were given out liberally, abilities were cheaper, or the difficulty was lower, this would not be a problem. As it stands currently, the game is effectively broken. You will never have a marine live long enough to unlock cool abilities. I thought Id get annoyed by the micro-transactions, but they are not the problem. Im taking a break until Rodeo rectifies this issue and I recommend waiting for a large fix and rebalance before you (the reader) it or invest additional money.

This is basically like playing Deathwatch around a table with friends, without your friends making you wait forever for your turn. Good gameplay, good action, way fun! Update: Well Ive played the crap out of this game and I still have a lot to do. There are two weak points: 1) it wouldve been nice if theyd added more than 3 chapters 2) the excitement of getting new, stronger marines is tempered by the amount of time you have to spend grinding xp, to bring them up to speed. Ive been wallowing in back-missions for too long instead of progressing. Since I have a solid team, I probably wont xp any new marines, even if theyre a Tier IV that I dont have yet. All the same, still a 5* game by mobile standards.

Great game, fun, doesnt force you into a paywall. Bummer the developer went of business as there hasnt been any new content or bug fixes.

The game crashed while loading, and wont load again. Tried force quit, restart, but nothing on a iPad Air 1, iOS 9.2.1. Besides this, its a fun to play highly addictive game with the right amount of strategy graphics and sound effects.good to see a game that is not only just shooter based but also has a strategy element. Well playing you can choose to play very conservatively and put your guys in a defensive position or play faster and at a higher risk. I hope the Dev team fixes this particular bug I sent the crash report that ios asked me to send in. Update 6/10/16 updated to latest iOS 9.3.2 game still crashes on load. Waiting for months on a fix, would like to see this work.
