Great game, reminds me of playing 40k back in the day but with a bit of a story line. Having fun!

Really fun

The game has enough content and difficulty to remain a challenge. A good time burner that doesnt eat up a ton of data either not require a constant connection or anything. Id give another star if theyd bring over the new content they had brought to the steam version. Id even pay for the new content if made available.

This game is by far one of the best games I own. The story line is acceptable, the action is wonderfully animated, and the missions bring variety. There is also no pressure on the player to spend any money, like the games that make you dish out hundreds of dollars just to scrape by. I didnt know that there were even in-app purchases until I had gotten far into the game. However, I feel like in the missions more pressure should be placed upon the player. Ive only played on Normal difficulty, but a time limit could be placed on the player. Otherwise, I will just peep out of cover, blast some Tyrannids in the face, and hide again. This brings me no to my next point: there should be a system implemented so that you could fire behind cover. I wouldnt mind an accuracy decrease and Devastator Marines not being able to, but this would save me lots of AP for the fighting to be more fast paced. Lastly, I would like more to be added. Anything to make the game deeper, like back stories for rare players, hidden lore or something of the sort, as well as more dialogue. New game modes, like pass and play, multiplayer, or survival would make the game so much better. That would take it from a good game, to a great one.

Worst $4 Ive ever spent. Was very excited about this game. The marines banter is funny and immersive. The pros are too many to list. Unfortunately the few cons are glaring flaws that ruin the game. The accuracy system is horrible and the punishment for death is far too harsh. Losing all saved do when some skills cost 8k to buy and the average mission reward is 1k, laughably horrible. I would have been better burning the $4. Least that would have been over quicker than spending what time I did playing this app.

It does our lord and savior, incarnation of the Machine God, the Emperor of Mankind good to see such a game memorializing the exploits of His soldiers.

There is a part on the act 4 of Viii where the two crab like tyranids hit and if they miss the game freezes and Im forced to quit the game. Ive figured out that they do that on every mission they are on too. Please fix

This game is been a lot of fun and is probably one of my favorites iOS. I like that it is turn-based and I can put it down it anytime and pick right up where I left off. My only complaint is that I cannot sync the game I have on my iPhone to my iPad.

This game is really good. You should play it. Its cheap for the content you get and it is one of the best mobile games I have played.

This is a really enjoyable strategy game, and a fantastic digital version of the original game.

Why would your squad mates lose ALL THE XPs when they die??! Thats so unfair, especially since I saved up thousands of XPs to unlock a trait!! And why would traits cost so much XPs??! Are there no other (faster) ways to get XPs?? This only encourages the player to spend XPs as soon as theyre gained and thats simply poor design!

Keep losing all xp because missions dont end after completion and the only way to end them is to quit the mission.

Ive never ventured into the lore or mythos of Warhammer 40k but after playing this I definitely want too. Fun, grid based action slightly reminiscent of a very basic Xcom. You can customize your character to a limited degree which is fun as well, but could be improved. One of the better mobile games out there in my opinion.

This game is great. Gathering weapons, gears, and characters is fun. The difficulty is well designed. I just finished veteran and I think I will finish heroic. Chapters have their own features. Its very obvious and fun!

Overall; great application if youre into Warhammer 40K. It focuses on turn-based squad combat. Possesses styles of RPG and strategy. Only downside is that it sometimes requires some grinding for experience points in order to level your boys up.
